The Los Angeles Lakers acquired one of the biggest names in this year's buyout market when veteran centre Andre Drummond agreed to terms with the franchise.
Without an expected return date for LeBron James and Anthony Davis, acquiring the services of the former Detroit Piston and Cleveland Cavalier could not have come at a better time.
After practice today, Vogel announced that Drummond will make his Lakers debut against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Averaging 17.5 points and 13.5 rebounds across 25 appearances with Cleveland this season, Drummond is expected to slot directly into the starting lineup for Frank Vogel's squad.

The 27-year-old will replace Marc Gasol in the starting group and wasted no time making his prescence felt on the practice court according to the Lakers head coach.
"He had a million steals in one practice. He has exceptional hands in pick and roll defense, post defense, pressuring bigs that are trying to facilitate from the top of the key," Vogel said.

Drummond's defensive prowess will be put to the test immediately against Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Bucks, with the Lakers looking to hold ground in the Western Conference standings. Los Angeles currently possess the fourth seed, just 1.5 games ahead of the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers.
