NBA 2K20 rating revealed - Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James take out top spot image

With NBA free agency and the 2019 Draft in the rearview, the rosters for next season are nearly set, which means we get our first look at the all-important player ratings for NBA 2K20 ahead of the game's September 6 release.

LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard lead the pack at 97, while 2018/19 Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo sits just behind at 96, alongside Kevin Durant and James Harden to round out the top 5.


2020 cover star Anthony Davis came in at no. 7 on the list, forming the league's best duo with James, just ahead of Leonard and Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers, followed by another set of new duos in Brooklyn's Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant and Houston's James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

NBA2K also revealed the ratings for the newest members of the NBA, giving us the top five rated rookies, with no surprises as no. 1 overall pick in last month's draft Zion Williamson taking top spot with 81.

No. 2 pick Ja Morant came in just behind at 79, with Canadian RJ Barrett one point behind at 78. Williamson's 81 makes him the first ever rookie to be given a rating above 80.

NBA 2K20 will be available worldwide on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC platforms on September 6, 2019.
