(Pro Kabaddi League)

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 league stage has entered the business end.

We now know our teams that would contest in the knockout rounds of the PKL Season 10. The race to the playoffs is finally done and dusted. The eliminations that were to happen, have happened. The teams that had to go through after the toil, have already passed the test.

There have been some shocking performances in the group stages of PKL 10. This season has made us realise that Kabaddi in its truest essence, is a team sport. It is not an individual sport. Don't get the reference? Worry not, The Sporting News has got you covered!

How many teams have qualified for the playoffs?

We now have our set of six teams to compete for the playoff rounds of the PKL Season 10. The scenarios look very similar to that of last season. Runners-up Puneri Paltan and the champions, Jaipur Pink Panthers, have already qualified for this season's playoffs.

Season 8 Champions, Dabang Delhi KC, have also joined the party. In the absence of star raider Naveen Kumar, Ashu Malik has taken on the role of the team's spearhead.

Gujarat Giants, who had a dismal season in 2023, have qualified for the playoffs, a year later. The coups of Fazel Atrachali and Rohit Gulia have worked wonders for Gujarat this season.

Patna Pirates, who were in the trenches in Season 9, have turned it around in under a year, courtesy of a balanced team performance throughout the season. Their defensive recruits from the auction have sealed the deal for the three-time PKL champions.

Haryana Steelers, who also missed out on playoffs last season, have made the cut this year. Manpreet Singh has marshalled his troops into a fighting unit of defensive solidity, and attacking instincts.
