India's road to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, a competition they have never participated in, begins with the Asian qualifiers.
India booked its spot as one of the 16 teams to participate in the Asian qualifiers by virtue of confirming its place in the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup in the qualifying tournament in Aug. 2021.

With Japan and Philippines as hosts, India will compete with the remaining 14 nations for the remaining six spots reserved for Asian teams at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
Note: The total available spots could dwindle to five if Indonesia, also a host, reaches the quarterfinals of the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup.
With no fixtures during the Nov. 2021 window, India is one of six nations to begin its campaign during the Feb. 2022 window.

How to watch India at FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers?
As per FIBA, the games can be live-streamed on Courtside 1891.
There is no official information on the broadcast of India's games on any channel on television in India. Stay tuned for the latest details regarding the same.
What is India's roster for Feb. window of FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers?
India announced it's 12-man roster on Feb. 17, a week before its first game of the Feb. window.
With Serbian national Veselin Matic as head coach, the team seems to be keeping an eye on the future with only four veterans, aged 28 or above, on the roster.

More signficantly, there are seven players aged 21 of younger. Of the seven, four are former NBA Academy India student-athletes in Princepal Singh, Pranav Prince, Arvind Kumar and Prashant Singh Rawat.

What is India's schedule for FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers?
During the February window, India will play four of it's six Group A fixtures over a five-day span between Feb. 24 and Feb. 28.
All Group A fixtures during the Feb. window are being played at Quezon, Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines.

Other nations slotted in Group A include New Zealand, Korea and Phillippines. Of it's four games in Feb., India plays New Zealand twice and every other nation once.
At the time of the February window, India ranks 80th in FIBA's rankings for Men which is far below the other nations in its group - New Zealand (27), Korea (30) and Phillippines (33).
