Ace Indian golfer Aditi Ashok finished tied fourth at the Mizuho Americas Cup on Monday. This was Aditi's third successive top-five finish in the current season.
The Indian finished two shots behind winner Rose Zhang who won her the trophy in her maiden pro event.
Zhang became the first golfer since Beverly Hanson to win on her LPGA debut.
Zhang was followed by Jennifer Kupcho who finished second and Ran Ryu who finished third. Aditi Ashok along with Aditi, Japan’s Ayaka Furue and South Korea’s Eun Hee Ji were tied fourth.

On the final day, Ashok started 9-under and was joint second after the third round. She reached double digits under-par twice in the day and was sailing towards her maiden win but she faltered in the end.
Aditi Ashok has finished T-2, T-5 and T-4 in her last three stroke play events on LPGA. She is currently in Top 20 in the order of merit and is on course to finish higher than her career-best ranking of 49 in the new world ranking which is due to come out on Tuesday.
