With the Warriors having lost seven of their last eight coming into this one, Curry got himself "a nice little butt pad" to safeguard himself from re-injuring a tailbone contusion he suffered in mid-March.
The injury, still clearly bothering him, didn't seem to affect his production as he's scored 30 or more in every outing since then.
This one came down to the final possession but the Dubs pulled this one out with a great final defensive possession, coming back from a 12-point deficit late in the third quarter.

Curry scored 30 of his game-high 41 points in the second half, making 10 of his 14 field goal attempts in the final 24 minutes.
In the midst of a 19-point third quarter, the former two-time MVP put his name on an all-time 3-point record that was not thought of just a few seasons back.

All of this, while being guarded by one of the best defensive guards in the league in Jrue Holiday.
“I thought he was just phenomenal," Steve Kerr said postgame.
"I just think his body, his mind, everything -- it has really sort of peaked this season. It just feels like his awareness level, his understanding of the defenses he's seeing, combined with the physical strength ... is really impressive."
Holiday led the Bucks in scoring with 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field, complemented by 28 from Khris Middleton.
For the Warriors, Curry was one of five to score in double figures including 19 from Kelly Oubre Jr., who scored eight of the team's last 19 points including two key 3-pointers and the game-sealing free throws.
Although slumping, Golden State are still in contention for the Play-in spots in the West. With the win, they improve to 24-27, owners of the 10th seed with 1.5 game lead on the New Orleans Pelicans. Despite the Warriors' tremendous dependence on Curry, they are looking ahead at a few winnable games.

Apart from rising Denver Nuggets, in four of their next five, they play Washington, Houston, Oklahoma City and Cleveland. Can the Dubs hold on?
