Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry is set to return on Monday against the Washington Wizards, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.

The two-time MVP has been out since Oct. 31 with a fractured left hand. He's since had two surgeries on that fractured hand, but has been progressing in his rehab inching closer to returning to action. Just this past weekend, he was cleared for full contact practice and scrimmaged with the team.

He was encouraged by how his hand felt while playing at full speed, but also admitted that everything feels a bit "new".

"I'm getting used to what the new normal is," Curry said in response to if he thinks his hand will ever get back to normal. "It definitely feels different, but I'm trying to get to a point when I'm actually playing basketball that I don't think about it."

Curry has only appeared in four games this season, averaging 20.3 points, 6.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game shooting 40.9% from the field and 24.3% from 3. With his return set for Sunday, he'll have 22 games remaining in the season to test out his hand, get back into game shape and play alongside his newest teammate Andrew Wiggins.

The Warriors are currently 12-45 and in last place in the Western Conference, but with Curry's return, we'll get a sneak peak of what him, Wiggins and Draymond Green could be capable of once they get another All-Star in Klay Thompson back in the fold next season.
