After 47 years of calling Oakland's ORACLE Arena home, the Golden State Warriors will move to San Francisco's Chase Center to begin the 2019-20 NBA season.

Ahead of the last-ever regular season home game at the historic arena, Golden State ensured it would go out in style by revealing a surprise for the fans.

Famously known as the "We Believe" era uniforms for being worn during the team's exciting postseason run in 2007, the Warriors dug in the archives to wear a special-edition throwback worn from the 2002-03 season until the 2009-10 season – Stephen Curry's rookie year.

Curry was visibly excited to throw it back to his rookie season as he's the only player on the Warriors roster to have worn these in a game prior to Monday's (AEST) game.

In retrospect, Curry appears to have been foreshadowing this moment for weeks now as he recently has been wearing numerous jerseys from that era to home games as the season winds down.

While the Warriors will play a number of postseason games at ORACLE as they pursue their third consecutive NBA title, the final regular season home game will certainly be one to remember.
