Stephen Curry had himself a night in the Warriors 119-114 win over the Mavericks Monday.

The two-time MVP sank 11 triples and finished with 48 points on 17-for-32 shooting from the field to go along with six rebounds and five assists. It is the 35th 40-point game in Curry's career and the 12th time that he has sank at least 10 3-pointers in a game.

The 10-year veteran spread his work out evenly, scoring 24 points in both the first and second halves. While Curry led the way with 48, two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant finished with 28 points (on 10-for-21 shooting) and his fellow splash brother Klay Thompson added 16 points while shooting 7-for-20 from the field.

Golden State advances to 29-14 on the season and hands Dallas just its fifth home loss of the season. American Airlines Center has proven to be a tough place for opponents to earn a win this year – the Mavericks are 16-5 on their home floor this season, surpassing their total of 15 wins in the 2017-18 season.

It should come as no surprise that the Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic, who scored 26 points and added six rebounds and five assists in under 32 minutes of action. Doncic becomes the first rookie since Stephen Curry (2010) to score 25 or more points in four consecutive games.

A late-game turnover from Harrison Barnes as Dallas trailed by three proved to be costly for the home team, as it was unable to get an opportunity to tie things up. Despite the error, Barnes finished with 22 points and four rebounds against his former team.

Dallas, who falls to 20-23 on the season takes the floor again Thursday when they host DeMar DeRozan and San Antonio.

The Warriors return to the floor Wednesday when they visit the Nuggets in a battle for the West's No. 1 seed. Golden State currently is a half-game behind Denver in the standings.
