Red Bull and Max Verstappen will look for revenge at the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix after their respective winning streaks come to an end in emphatic fashion in Singapore.
The Dutch driver missed out on a Q3 spot during qualifying after his car underperformed unexpectedly after which Carlos Sainz converted his pole position into the race win to become the first non-Red Bull driver to win this season.
Things might revert back to the Austrian constructors' dominant spell here at Suzuka though, with their car much more suited to the fast, high speed corners at this famous Japanese race track.
Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren will be desperate to keep them away from the top step of the podium though. Sainz, Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton finished in the top three at Marina Bay and all three will be in the hunt for the race victory again here alongside Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
