After a short break following a thrilling British Grand Prix, Formula One returns with the 13th race of the season as the Hungarian Grand Prix from the Hungaroring in Mogyorod marks the beginning of the second half of the 2024 campaign.

Lights out at the Hungaroring is in just a few hours' time, as defending champion Max Verstappen, who has won the last three races here, looks to get back to winning ways following successive close-run losses in Austria and Great Britain respectively.

Two Brits have stormed to victory in the last two meetings, with George Russell winning at the Red Bull Ring in Austria following a clash between his compatriot Lando Norris and Verstappen as the race approached its climax, and Lewis Hamilton collected a record ninth British Grand Prix crown last time out with his first victory overall since the 2021 season.

With Russell and Hamilton both picking up their first race wins of the 2024 season, Mercedes appear to be the team to beat ahead of today's meeting at the Hungaroring. Verstappen still holds an 84-point lead at the top of the World Drivers' Championship, and expect him, Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, and McLaren's Norris and Oscar Piastri all to be fighting it out at the top of the podium.

The Sporting News remains your guide to all things F1 in 2024, and ahead of today's Hungarian Grand Prix, we've got all the TV and live streaming details you'll need to keep pace with the action from Mogyorod.

When is the next F1 race after the Hungarian Grand Prix?

As we pass beyond the halfway mark of the 2024 Formula One season, the Europe-based races approach their final stretch leading into the campaign's climactic meetings in Asia and the Americas. Next up on the calendar immediately after Hungary though is the Belgian Grand Prix, which takes place from the iconic Spa circuit on Sunday, July 28.

This year's meeting will be the 80th edition of the Belgian Grand Prix across its several forms and has historically been known as the premier European Grand Prix, being won for each of the last three years in a row by Verstappen on his way to his back-to-back-to-back World Drivers' Championship titles.

The action at Spa this year begins with the first of three free practice sessions on Friday, July 26, leading into qualifying the following day before the race itself on Sunday, July 28. 3:00 p.m. local time (CEST) is the start time in Spa, as the 20 drivers tackle one of the most unpredictable circuits on the entire F1 calendar.
