Euro 2024 has seen a new face on the European Championship stage as Georgia make their bow in Germany.
The expansion of the tournament to 24 teams from Euro 2016 onwards has increased the chances for nations who have previously struggled to make it through to the tournament every four years.
Georgia were forced to battle through the playoffs to qualify for Euro 2024 after securing a penalty shootout win over Greece in March to book their spot at in the finals.
Due to their lack of exposure on the Euros stage, some fans will be unfamiliar with the team from eastern Europe, but they have already made a huge impact.
They began their campaign on June 18 against neighbours Turkey and concluded the group stage against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal, when they caused a shock by securing a 2-0 win that saw them qualify for the Round of 16.

Where is Georgia?
Georgia is a nation state in Eastern Europe bordered by Russia to the north and Azerbaijan, Turkey and Armenia to the south, with its west coast sitting on the Black Sea.
The country was established in its current form in 1991, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, with its capital Tbilisi towards the south east.
Oh, and there is no obvious connection with the US state of Georgia. The country is believed to take its name from St. George, while "the Peach State" is named for King George II, an 18th-century monarch of Britain and Ireland.
Georgia's European Championship record
Georgia had never qualified for the European Championship or the World Cup before this year.
Improvements in recent years saw them lose out in the qualification playoffs for Euro 2020 before ending their barren run in 2024, when they beat Luxembourg in the semifinals before defeating Greece on penalties in the final after a 0-0 draw.
At Euro 2024, they lost 3-1 to Turkey on Matchday 1 before a 1-1 draw with Czechia in their second game. With a place in the knockout phase on the line, they then defeated Portugal 2-0 in their final Group F game to qualify.
Georgia's Euro 2024 schedule
Georgia were placed in Group F at Euro 2024 alongside 2016 champions Portugal, neighbours Turkey, and Albania.
After qualifying in third place, they will face a Round of 16 match against Spain.
