Manchester City could find themselves in for a long night in Istanbul as they take on Inter Milan in the 2022/23 Champions League final.
Pep Guardiola's team is chasing a potential trophy treble at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium as they aim for a first-ever Champions League title.
However, despite their favourites tag, City will need to be patient on their big night, against an Inter side with an excellent defensive record.
The Italians have kept five clean sheets in their six Champions League knockout stage matches in 2023 and they will be prepared to push for extra time and penalties if needed.

What happens if Man City vs Inter ends in a tie after 90 minutes?
If City vs Inter Milan ends in a draw after 90 minutes of regulation time, the referee will signal an extra period of 30 minutes, split into two 15-minute halves.
The 30-minute period will be played in its entirety, including potential added time for injuries and other stoppages. There is no sudden death 'golden goal' rule in extra time.
Both teams are permitted an extra substitution during extra time on top of the five allowed during regulation (article 41 of official rules).
Not including halftime and the end of periods, teams can stop play three times during regulation to make subs, with a fourth substitution stoppage allowed during extra time.
How do penalties work in the Champions League final?
If the game remains tied after the 30-minute extra time period the match will move to a penalty shootout.
Each team takes five penalties each, and the team that converts the most spot kicks at the end of the five rounds is deemed the winner.
However, if the teams are level after five kicks each, a sudden death penalty shootout will settle the contest. The team that edges ahead after any one of the subsequent rounds is deemed the champion.
