Liverpool's Premier League title hopes suffered a potentially terminal blow when they were beaten 2-0 by Everton in a raucous Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

Jurgen Klopp's men have only won one of their past four league games and are now outsiders in a three-horse title race with leaders Arsenal and champions Manchester City.

They will look to apply some pressure to their rivals by returning to winning ways at West Ham, who are smarting from a more prolonged slump that has put the future of manager David Moyes in doubt.

In 2024, the Hammers have won just four of 21 matches in all competitions and are winless in their past four. They still retain hopes of finishing in a European qualification spot but a positive result this weekend feels essential.
