Manchester City and Inter Milan will battle it out at the summit of European club football as they meet in the 2023 Champions League football.
If Simone Inzaghi manages to cause an upset and lead his Inter side to victory, they will move level with Ajax on four Champions League titles. This would put them above Manchester United and one behind Barcelona.
The Citizens are yet to win a Champions League trophy, falling just short to Chelsea in the 2021 final. Pep Guardiola has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to win the competition, especially after signing Erling Haaland.
The Sporting News looks at the officials in charge of the 2023 Champions League final.

Who is the referee for Man City vs Inter Milan?
Szymon Marciniak has been put in charge of the 2023 Champions League final at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey. The Polish referee has already overseen eight matches in the competition this season, including the semifinal second leg between Man City and Real Madrid.
Referee | Szymon Marciniak |

Assistants | Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz |
Fourth official | Istvan Kovacs |
VAR | Tomasz Kwiatkowski |

Although this is his first time being the main official in a Champions League final, previously being the fourth official in 2018, Marciniak does have big-game experience as he took charge of the 2022 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France.
There was some doubt as to whether he would be stripped of his role after he spoke at an event organised by a far-right Polish leader, but UEFA confirmed Marciniak will be still be referee following an apology from the Pole.
Both of Marciniak's assistant referees are Polish while the fourth official is from Romania. The VAR crew for the final are also from the two countries.
