Ahead of Manchester United's visit, things are not going well at Everton. Wednesday's loss against Burnley ensured beyond doubt that the Merseyside club is in a fight for Premier League survival.

Sean Dyche's side sit in the final relegation spot, and are just one point behind Everton. However, Lampard's side are not down yet, and they sit five points behind Leeds, with two games in hand and a much better goal difference.

While the points tally says that Everton have a strong chance of survival, their fixture list tells a different story. Everton have a very difficult run-in, and that starts with Ralf Rangnick's United, who travel to Goodison Park for the early kickoff on Saturday.

United don't have the best record away to Everton, but this is certainly a chance to improve on that. While the season looked over for the Manchester side just a few days ago, that's no longer the case. Arsenal's defeat to Crystal Palace means the Red Devils could yet be in with a chance of making the top four.

The return of top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo should be a boost to United, if they can supply him, and Lampard's team will have to go on a very impressive run of performances, starting with this one, if they're to avoid playing in the Championship next season.

Everton vs. Manchester United predicted lineups

Frank Lampard has a fluid squad situation on his hands at Everton. Allan and Michael Keane will both be available from suspension, with the latter almost guaranteed to replace Mason Holgate in midfield.

Injuries keep Yerry Mina, Tom Davies and Andros Townsend out, while on-loan Donny van de Beek wouldn't be eligible to face his parent club, even if he was fit.

Seamus Coleman, who was benched for the defeat to Burnley, will likely return to the side, with one of Jonjoe Kenny or Vitaliy Mykolenko expected to feature at left back.

Everton predicted lineup (4-4-2): Pickford (GK) — Coleman, Holgate, Keane, Kenny — Gordon, Allan, Doucoure, Iwobi — Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Edinson Cavani is expected to miss out for Man United, while Luke Shaw is a doubt for Rangnick after coming off injured against Leicester, and he may not be risked against Everton. There's better news up front, as United fans will be happy to see Cristiano Ronaldo return to the side.

With Fred looking like one of the most impressive performers in the team of late, Paul Pogba may see himself on the bench, with Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Elanga competing for two of the wide positions.

Manchester United predicted lineup (4-3-3): De Gea (GK) — Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Telles — Fernandes, McTominay, Fred — Rashford, Ronaldo, Sancho
