Cristiano Ronaldo and his new-look Al Nassr team are back in competitive action as they look to rebound from a poor ending to their 2022/23 season.
With Sadio Mane, Seko Fofana, Marcelo Brozovic, and Alex Telles joining the squad, Al Nassr hope that they have enough to take them over the top in 2023/24 after finishing just short in every competition.
Al Nassr finished in second place in the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League, and also fell in the semifinals of the King Cup and the Saudi Super Cup.
The 38-year-old Ronaldo has already captained his team to silverware, winning the Arab Club Champions Cup (also known as the King Salman Club Cup) with a 2-1 defeat of rivals Al Hilal. Now the focus turns toward the Saudi Pro League season.

When is Ronaldo's next Al Nassr match?
The Arab Club Champions Cup triumph was soon soured by defeat in each of their first two league matches, putting Al Nassr firmly behind the 8 ball in the title race.
Now, they turn their attention to the AFC Champions League, where they will enter in the qualifying stages thanks to last year's second-place finish. Al Nassr meet UAE club Shabab Al-Ahli, who topped their domestic table last season.

Al Nassr were beaten by both Al Ettifaq and Al Taawoun in their first two league matches. Most of the star players were sat for the opener against Al Ettifaq, but the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Anderson Talisca, and Marcelo Brozovic returned to the pitch in the Al Taawoun match.
They must pick up the pieces and recapture their Arab Club Champions Cup form which saw Ronaldo and the front line pour on the goals.
