Chelsea's first Premier League match since the departure of Graham Potter sees Liverpool take a midweek trip to Stamford Bridge.
Blues owner Todd Boehly opted to sack the former Brighton & Hove Albion head coach after just over six months in charge at the club following a poor run of Premier League results in 2023.
Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann is the current front runner to replace Potter on a permanent basis with Bruno Saltor taking interim charge ahead of this fixture.
Jurgen Klopp's future at Liverpool remains secure, but his team are also struggling for form, on the back of losing 4-1 away at title chasing Manchester City last weekend.
