Chelsea will be confident of a potential Premier League title challenge this season after Thomas Tuchel invested over £150m this summer.
Thomas Tuchel has boosted his squad with key acquisitions in recent weeks with Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella all arriving at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues enjoyed a winning start to the campaign, as Jorginho's spot kick secured a 1-0 win away at Everton, with Tottenham winning 4-1 at home to Southampton.
Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has also overhauled his squad this summer with Richarlison, Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma amongst the new arrivals in north London.
Predicted Chelsea lineup: Blues starting XI against Spurs
Here's how Chelsea's XI could look, in a 3-4-3 formation: Mendy (GK) — Azpilicueta, Silva, Koulibaly — James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell — Mount, Sterling, Havertz
Which new Chelsea signings could start against Tottenham?
Koulibaly and Sterling both started at Goodison Park last weekend with solid debuts for Tuchel's new faces.
Despite coming off in the closing stages, Koulibaly is expected to keep his starting place against Spurs, with Sterling leading the hosts attack.
Cucurella came off the bench for a late cameo on Merseyside, with his switch from Brighton only confirmed the day before, and Tuchel could throw the Spanish international in from the start in this derby tie but Ben Chilwell is likely to get the nod once again.
Chelsea injury news for Spurs clash
Tuchel is expected to have a fully fit squad to pick from ahead of the game but he could reshuffle his starting XI on their return to home soil.
Cucurella's starting debut will be his main dilemma, while United States international Christian Pulisic impressing off the bench against Everton will also give him food for thought.
What was the score between Chelsea and Tottenham last season?
Chelsea won home and away in Premier League action against Tottenham last season, with a 5-0 aggregate score, including a goal in both games from Thiago Silva.
Tuchel's charges also won both legs of their EFL Cup semi final against Spurs in January and they are unbeaten against Tottenham in their last 11 meetings in all competitions.
