Belgium at Euro 2024: Teams in group, fixtures, schedule, path to final in Germany image

Belgium head to Euro 2024 under the leadership of Domenico Tedesco following Roberto Martinez's departure after their group stage exit at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Tedesco is looking to manage expectation for the Red Devils after years of perceived underperformance despite a talented array of stars available to Martinez and his predecessor Marc Wilmots.

If Tedesco can reduce the pressure on his players it could be real boost with the majority of his squad potentially facing their final international tournament in Germany.

Veteran duo Jan Vertonghen and captain Kevin De Bruyne are expected to end their international careers in 2024 and others could join them if Belgium fall short again.

Belgium Euro 2024 group stage fixtures, schedule

Belgium will open their Euro 2024 slate against Slovakia in Frankfurt, before facing Romania five days later in Cologne.

They will then return to Frankfurt for their final match against Ukraine to close out group play.

It's an incredibly kind geographical draw for Belgium, who play in Frankfurt twice, and don't have to travel far to Cologne for the match in between.

Belgium Euro 2024 path to the final

Should Belgium finish top two in their group, they would qualify directly for a knockout stage spot and would avoid another group winner either way. If they win Group E, they would pull a third-place qualifier, while a second-place result in Group E would see Belgium draw the second-place finisher in Group D (France, Netherlands, Austria or Poland).

In the knockout fixtures below, all possible positions for Belgium are bolded for the Round of 16 and quarterfinals for if they finish top two in their group.
