NBA Playoffs 2020: Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray becomes franchise leader for most 3-pointers made in the playoffs image

With his first and lone 3-pointer of the first quarter in Game 3 vs. the LA Clippers, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray jumped to the top of the charts for the most playoff 3-pointers made in franchise history.

Prior to Game 3, he was tied with J.R. Smith for the top spot with 65. Murray passed that total in his 24th postseason game while Smith had reached that mark in 35 playoff games.

The 6'4" Canadian guard is coming off a historic seven-game first-round series against the Utah Jazz. Averaging 31.6 points per game, he knocked down his 32 three-pointers at a clip of 53.3%. His total was just one shy the 33 three-pointers made by the Jazz's Donovan Mitchell.

He became the fourth player to record multiple 50-point games in the same playoff series, and he also became the first player since Allen Iverson in 2001 to have 3 straight 40-point games in the postseason.

The other franchise star on the Nuggets - Nikola Jokic - isn't far behind on this list. Prior to Game 5, he was fourth on the franchise's all-time list for most playoff 3-pointers with 48 made.

In fact, seven current Nuggets, including Murray and Jokic are in the top 16 of this list.
