OKC snap Pistons win-streak

Oklahoma City boasts the best defense in the NBA and they were firing on all cylinders as they clamped down on the Pistons in their 110-83 win.

Detroit struggled shooting the ball all night, connecting on just 32% of their shots from the field and 18% (6-of-32) from the three-point line.

They held a 50-40 lead over the Pistons at the half, breaking the game open with a 37-19 third quarter, with Russell Westbrook, Steven Adams and Paul George proving too much for Detriot. With 7:25 remaining in the period, OKC went on a 29-10 run to put the game away.

Westbrook scored 11 of his 18 points in the period, adding six rebounds and six assists on the night. Adams led the way, bruising his way through the paint for 21 points and six rebounds, while Goerge added 17 points and 10 boards.

For the Pistons, Blake Griffin scored 20 points, but Andre Drummond could not find a way past Adams, finishing with 13 points and six rebounds.

OKC moves to 15-7 on the season, snapping the Pistons' five-game win streak in the process.

Curry, Klay & KD combine for 85 points vs Hawks

Golden State came into today's game looking to snap their six-game road losing streak and thanks to a blistering start they cruised to a 128-111 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

The Warriors dominated the first quarter 34-17 and never looked back, putting on a shooting clinic as they buried 58% of their shots and 54% from three.

The Hawks had no answer for Kevin Durant (28 pts), Steph Curry (30 pts) and Klay Thompson (27 pts), who combined for 85 points on the night, shooting a sizzling 61% between them.

Lou Williams comes up clutch for Clippers

With just 6.4 seconds left on the clock and the Clippers holding a one-point lead, Lou Williams came up with the dagger three to beat the shot clock and the New Orleans Pelicans, 129-126.

New Orleans rallied from 18 points down to take the lead in the fourth quarter, but Williams bailed them out to move the Clippers to 16-7 on the season, tied for first in the West with the Nuggets.

The Clippers had five players score in double figures, led by Tobias Harris (27 points), Danilo Gallinari (24) and Williams' 20 off the bench, while the Pelicans got big games from Julius Randle, Jrue Holiday and Anthony Davis.

Randle exploded for a career-high 37 points on 15-of-24 shooting, while Holiday added 32 points and 14 assists and Davis finishing with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

Jokic drops triple-double in win over Raptors

The Denver Nuggets made a statement Tuesday, snapping the Raptors' eight-game win streak, winning 106-103 on the road.

Nikola Jokic was in the zone early, playing more point guard than centre as he dished out seven assists in the first quarter alone, on his way to a 23-point, 15-assist, 11-rebound triple-double.

With the game in the balance late in the fourth quarter, Jokic stood tall, burying clutch free throws down the stretch to put the Nuggets up three, with 5.6 seconds remaining.

Kyle Lowry's three-pointer at the buzzer was off as the Raptors drop just their third game at home this season. Kawhi Leonard led Toronto with 27 points and eight rebounds on the night.
