The World Championship of Legends 2024 has already kickstarted with a bang! And Saturday saw the iconic clash between arch-rivals India vs Pakistan. A total of six countries will take part in the WCL 2024.

Even after hanging up their boots long ago, a bunch of legendary cricketers from different parts of the world, have gathered together for an exhibition tournament in England.

The ten-day-long competition will be held across two stadiums in the United Kingdom. A total of 18 games, including two semi-finals and one final, will be played in the tournament.

When will the World Championship of Legends take place?

The World Championship of Legends started on July 03, 2024. The ten-day long tournament will see the final being played on June 13, as the six teams fight for the inaugural title in the World Championship of Legends.

Which stadiums will host the World Championship of Legends matches?

  • The Edgbaston in Birmingham 
  • County Cricket Ground in Northampton

The above-mentioned venues will host all the matches of the World Championship of Legends 2024. The semis will be held in Northampton, while the final will be played at Edgbaston.

What will be the format of the World Championship of Legends tournament?

The tournament will follow a round-robin format, with all six nations playing each other once in the group stage. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals. 

The winners of the two semis will play in the elusive inaugural final of the World Championship of Legends tournament.
