The Women's Asia Cup 2024 starts on July 19 in Sri Lanka. This is the ninth edition of the tournament and will be played in the T20 format for the fifth time in a row. The competition will help teams prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup later this year.

The tournament features eight teams split into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The final will be held at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on July 28.

India, the defending champions, won the last Asia Cup in 2022 and have a strong record, winning most editions except for one in 2018.
