The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the squad for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Bangladesh women's team, commencing on July 9.
All six matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur.
The captaincy responsibilities for both squads have been entrusted to Harmanpreet Kaur, with Smriti Mandhana serving as her deputy. Yastika Bhatia, who previously played for the Mumbai Indians in the Women's Premier League (WPL), will be the wicketkeeper.

Several senior players surprisingly dropped from the India squads
Notably, Richa Ghosh, an experienced wicketkeeper, is not included in either squad. Fast bowling duo of Renuka Singh Thakur and Shikha Pandey have been excluded, while spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad will not be touring to Bangladesh either. Radha Yadav, another prominent name, is absent from both squads.
20-year-old Uma Chetry from Assam has been chosen as the second wicketkeeper for both the T20Is and ODIs. She competed for India A at the recently concluded Emerging Asia Cup and received recognition for her efforts and potential.
Both left-arm seam bowler Monica Patel and right-handed opening batswoman Priya Punia have been recalled to the side.
Left-arm spinners Rashi Kanojiya and Anusha Bareddy, who have received their first-ever call-ups to the national team, have taken the place of the seasoned Yadav and Gayakwad.
As per the BCCI press release, Sneh Rana will participate exclusively in the ODIs, while Meghana Sabbineni, her teammate from the Gujarat Giants, will feature solely in the T20Is.

The series will commence with the T20Is, with the final match taking place on July 13. The ODI matches will commence on July 16, with the series concluding on July 22.
