Women's Asia Cup 2024: India vs Bangladesh first semi-final

After losing the toss the Women in Blue were made to bowl first. However, it never went according to the plan for Bangladesh as Radha Yadav and Renuka Singh decimated the Bangladeshi Women's batting line-up with three wickets each. The duo’s stunning bowling performance helped India restrict Bangladesh to 80/8 in 20 overs.

In reply, star batter Smrithi Mandhana looked unstoppable as she smashed an unbeaten fifty. Meanwhile, Shafali Verma’s unbeaten 26-run knock helped India reach the target in just 11 overs and with all 10 wickets intact.

India will face one of Sri Lanka or Pakistan Women’s teams in the final of the tournament at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka.
