The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is likely to accept Pakistan's proposal of conducting the Asia Cup 2023 in a 'hybrid model' which will see Pakistan hosting four non-India games while the rest of the matches will be held in Sri Lanka's Galle and Pallekele.
And as soon as Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) proposal for Asia Cup gets the nod, they are reportedly expected to give the green signal to their cricket team to travel to India for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Speaking to PTI, an unnamed ACC board member said,
Oman Cricket board chief Pankaj Khimji, one of the respected ACC executive board members, was entrusted to find a solution as most countries didn't want a Hybrid Model. But as of now four non-India games -- Pakistan vs Nepal, Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh -- will be held at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore. The two India vs Pakistan games and all other Super Four Games will be held in either Pallekele or Galle.
Recently, ICC CEO Geoff Allardice and chairman Greg Barclay visited Karachi where they met PCB chief Najam Sethi. It was then decided that if Pakistan are allowed to host four Asian Cup 2023 games, they will not set any more conditions about visiting India for the World Cup.
