For the first time in its 16-year history, the Indian Premier League (IPL) Final had to be postponed to Monday due to incessant rain on Sunday due to which not even one ball could be bowled in the match.
It was a major disappointment for the supporters who had come from different parts of the company, who not only missed out on seeing their favourite players in action but performances from some of the most talented celebrities during the closing ceremony.
Thankfully keeping in mind such unique situations where the Final can't be played, the Board of Control for Cricket in India assigned Monday as a reserve day for the match to be played.

The IPL 2023 Final closing ceremony will still take place on Monday, with supporters not missing out on performances from a wide array of talented artists. It will take place around 6:30 pm followed by the live toss.
