Imran Khan, Pakistan's World Cup-winning captain, has been reportedly invited to the World Cup final closing ceremony in India, according to a report from Daily Pakistan.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has plans to invite every World Cup-winning captain for a ceremony that will take place on the day of the World Cup final (November 19). 

The cricketer-turned-politician led Pakistan to World Cup glory in 1992 in Australia and it remains Pakistan's only World Cup trophy trophy thus far in the ODI format.
