Is there a reserve day if rain washes off the game?

In the scenario wherein rain completely washes off play, a reserve day has been scheduled for the big event. The DLS method will be used in order to adjust overs if there’s time left for play, but the game can be rescheduled for Monday if no play is possible.

Who will win if the reserve day is washed off

The chances of the reserve day getting washed off as well is very little, but in the scenario wherein the reserve day for the final is washed off as well, the new IPL champions will be decided in a rather different method.

The team that is placed higher in the table out of the two finalists will be crowned as the new IPL champions. In this case, KKR will be crowned as the new champions since they finished the season as the table toppers, ahead of second placed SRH.

Although the method seems to be fair, it would be a massive disappointment for the fans as the title will be decided without a ball being bowled.
