"Who says we can't play spin?" - Iftikhar Ahmed's video goes viral after Australia's Adam Zampa foxes Pakistan batsmen image

A late batting collapse at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru saw Pakistan hurtle to a 62-run loss to Australia in a crucial World Cup 2023 encounter on Friday.

Chasing a target of 368, Pakistan lost six wickets for 63 runs to end up 305 all out despite looking comfortable in the chase at one point.

Imam-Ul-Haq (70) and Abdullah Shafique (64) were the pick of the batters in the run chase. Muhammad Rizwan scored a valuable knock of 46 runs too.

Aussie leg-spinner Adam Zampa stole the show in Bangalore, as he wiped out the Pakistan middle order. The leggie, interestingly, dismissed both Ifthikhar Ahmed and Mohammed Rizwan who both were looking extremely dangerous to turn the tide in Australia's favour.

Amidst the loss, Iftikhar Ahmed's video has gone viral over social media. The 33-year-old is seen passing confident remarks over Pakistan's ability to play spin.

What did Iftikhar Ahmed say about Pakistan's ability to play spin?

Past video of Iftikhar Ahmed has gone viral over Twitter after Adam Zampa picked four wickets against Pakistan at the Chinnaswamy.

Iftikhar said that Pakistani batsmen are exceptional at playing spin. He made a remark in a rhetorical manner, saying that Pakistan players play spin better than other countries.

"These are all notions that Pakistanis aren't good players of spin. We play spin better than anybody else. Who else but we Pakistanis are supposed to play spin well? Definitely not the whites!", said the Pakistani all rounder.
