The Punjab Kings (PBKS) have unfortunately not made much of a mark in their long history in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They have managed to make it into the playoff rounds only twice in 15 seasons. However, they have produced some of the most exciting batsmen to play in the competition.
Of them, the most prominent is KL Rahul, who took three seasons to become PBKS' all-time top scorer. Through the course of his career with the Kings, Rahul produced some memorable knocks, including an unbeaten spell of 132 runs off 69 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

His consistent performances in his first two seasons led to him becoming PBKS' captain in 2020. While he could not help them qualify to the knockout stages, he won the Orange Cap that campaign for scoring the most runs in the tournament (670).
Who is PBKS' highest runscorer in IPL?
Rahul, with 2548 runs across 55 innings, is the leading batsman in PBKS' 16-year IPL history. He is followed by Australian cricketer Shaun Marsh who scored 2477 runs in his nine-year spell at the franchise.
PBKS' top 10 runscorers in IPL
Followed by Rahul and Marsh is the South African batsman David Miller in third place with 1974 runs during his seven-year stay at PBKS. None of the top 10 runscorers in their history are currently playing for the franchise.
