- Hails from a sporting family: Prabhsimran comes from a family that has a strong sporting background. His uncle Satvinder Singh was a handball player and his cousin Anmolpreet Singh is a professional cricketer who plays for Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL.
- India U23: The wicketkeeper-batsman made his List A debut for the India U23 side at the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. India finished runners-up in the tournament.
- Bough for 4.8 crores!: At the 2018 IPL auction Punjab Kings bought Prabhsimran for a whopping INR 4.8 crores. His cousin Anmolpreet went to Mumbai Indians for INR 80 lakhs in the same auction.
