The name Virat Kohli has become synonymous with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise. He is their all-time highest run scorer and is the only player to score more than 6000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Kohli has been part of the team since the inception of the league in 2008 and is the only player in the competition's history to play for a single franchise.

The former Indian skipper led RCB for the first time in 2011 and became their full-time captain from the 2013 edition. He stepped down from the position ahead of IPL 2021.

Kohli, who is the most illustrious cricketer in RCB's history, is followed by two other fan favourites AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle.
While the South African served the team for 10 years between 2011 to 2021 when he scored 4354 runs, 'Universe Boss' Gayle donned the RCB between 2011 to 2017 and scored 3420 runs.
Among the top 10 players with the most runs for RCB, Kohli and Glenn Maxwell are still playing for the team.
