The IPL 2024 auction is underway in Dubai as 10 teams are fighting it out on the auction table to build their squad for a brand new season of the competition.
The auction this year saw some shocking buys with the Australian duo of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins breaking bidding records as KKR and SRH paid INR 24.75 crore and INR 20.50 crore respectively for the two fast bowlers.

Among the uncapped players, Shubham Dubey and Sameer Rizvi went to RR and CSK respectively for big money. While Dubey came at INR 5.8 crore, Rizvi was bought by the five-time champions for a massive INR 8.4 crore.
Over the years several Indian uncapped players have earned big contracts from the IPL franchises. Fast bowler Avesh Khan bagged a contract of INR 10 crore from LSG in 2022 when he was yet to make an appearance for the national team.
