England are the most successful overseas team in terms of the number of Test wins against India in India, winning 15 Tests out of 65. 

They are followed by England's arch-rivals Australia, who have won 14 Tests out of 54. 

India's neighbours and arch-nemeses Pakistan have lost the fewest Tests out of teams to have played at least 15 Tests in India, while New Zealand are the least successful visiting team, winning just two Tests.

What next for Indian cricket team?

India are set to square off against England in the 2nd Test at the Dr. Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

The match will begin on Friday, February 2, with the hosts hoping to bounce back from a defeat in the 1st Test.
