While the Indian Premier League (IPL) is known for its high-scoring nature, hitting a half-century is not all that easy a task. Often batsmen close to crossing the 50-run mark are dismissed trying to hit a boundary and reach the landmark.

Who has scored the most 50s in IPL?
Currently, Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner has scored the most half-centuries (59) in IPL, achieving the feat in 172 innings while putting up a total of 6211 runs in his career.

Warner is followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore ace Virat Kohli who holds the honour of being the batsman with the most runs in the league's history and has scored fifty 50s over the course of his IPL career, as well as Punjab Kings skipper and fellow India batsman Shikhar Dhawan who has also scored fifty 50s.
