Punjab Kings host Gujarat Titans in their fourth match of the IPL 2023 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.

Both the teams were off to flying starts winning their first two matches of the season, but they faltered in their third matches.

While Gujarat Titans lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in a thrilling contest in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings went down against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

An evenly contested competition is on the cards as two in-form teams are set to lock horns in Mumbai.

Skipper Hardik Pandya will hope to rediscover his form with both bat and ball and also rediscover his team's winning touch on Thursday.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have no concerns with the form of their skipper. Shikhar Dhawan has looked in sensational touch this season and it was only his 99* that held the innings together in their last game. They will need their other batters to fire consistently though.

These two teams met each other twice last season with both winning one game each.

PBKS vs GT team news

There is good news from the PBKS camp as English international batsman Liam Livingstone has recovered from his injury and has joined the squad ahead of the fourth game of the season. There are no new injury concerns in their squad.

Gujarat Giants skipper Hardik Pandya missed the last game against KKR due to illness as Rashid Khan stepped in as captain of the side. The India international all-rounder is expected to be back ahead of the PBKS clash.
