The Indian Street Premier League is back, after a successful inaugural season in 2024. The first of its kind in India, the ISPL is a T10 tournament, played with a tennis ball. Being a BCCI recognised competition, the inauguration and announcement of the ISPL season 2 involved the presence of Sachin Tendulkar, and Bollywood star couple, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
The tournament will include six teams in total, each owned by a franchise that represents Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Srinagar. The players' selection process will be a lengthy one, with trials followed by a player auction ahead of the season.
A total of 55 cities divided into five zones in all over the country, are selected for players to apply for the league. Central and South Zones trials are scheduled from October 26 to October 28, with East and North Zones holding them between November 2 to November 4. The players in the West Zone will have their final trials between November 5 to 9.

When will the Indian Street Premier League season 2 start?
The second season of the ISPL is scheduled to begin on January 26, 2025. The final of the tournament will be played on February 9, 2025.
