The 2023 Pakistan Super League season is reaching a climax, but the final will now take place earlier than originally planned.
The showpiece — which will see Multan Sultans look to avenge defeat against Lahore Qalandars in last year's final — was originally due to played on Sunday, March 19.
But the Pakistan Cricket Board have now opted to change that date and bring the event forward. Here's all the details you need to know.

When is the PSL 2023 final?
The climax to the PSL's eighth season will take place on Saturday, March 18 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore — 24 hours earlier than was planned.
The original date of Sunday, March 19 had been slated on the calendar for several months, with the potential of a reserve day on the Monday also part of the plan.
However, the PCB announced on Thursday a revised schedule, amid concerns over the forecast weather conditions for the coming weekend.
Why has the PSL 2023 final been moved?
With rain forecast for the coming weekend, the PCB took an early decision to move up the fixture in order to avoid a washout.
Although a minimum of five overs is required to constitute a complete T20, the PCB are keen to ensure a full match can be played.
"The HBL PSL 8 is our marquee event," said Najam Sethi, chair of the PCB's Management Committee in a statement.
"All the teams aim and prepare whole year to not only feature in the final but to lift the Supernove Trophy, while the passionate cricket fans also wait anxiously to see their favourite team being crowned as champion.
As such, and on the basis of available information about bad weather forecast, it is a sensible and proactive approach that we use the off-day and play the final on Saturday, and utilise Sunday along with Monday as reserve days.
"This will give us two reserve days in case the match cannot be completed or played on Saturday instead of the traditional one day.
"We have spoken with the teams involved in the play-offs, and they are not only aligned to our decision but have backed and supported our decision.
"There will be no inconvenience to the cricket fans as tickets purchased for Sunday’s match will remain valid for Saturday’s rescheduled final."

What time is the PSL 2023 final?
Although the date has moved, the time of the PSL final will remain the same — with the match scheduled for 7:30pm IST.

PSL 2023 final 2023 latest betting odds
Multan Sultans booked an early place in the PSL 2023 final, after beating Lahore Qalandars in the first play-off match.
But the two will now again in the showpiece after Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi in the final eliminiator.
Lahore defeated Peshawar by six wickets on Friday, after chasing down the target of 171/5 with seven balls to spare.
