The Women's Big Bash season is coming to a close, with the finals series set to begin on Wednesday, November 23rd.

Sydney Sixers have already secured a spot in the final after finishing in first place on the WBBL|08 ladder, with three other teams vying for a spot against them.

Hobart, Adelaide and Brisbane will all play off in the finals series for the chance to play in the final on Saturday, November 26th.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the WBBL|08 finals series. 

When is the WBBL|08 finals series?

This year's WBBL finals series will begin with a clash between the Heat and Hurricanes on Wednesday, November 23rd

The winner of that match will take on the Strikers on Thursday, November 24th, before the surviving team plays the Sixers in the final at North Sydney Oval on Saturday, November 26th
