Australia will take on India in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final which is set to be played at The Oval in England, London from June 7 to June 11.
Unlike many players in the Indian team, most of the Australians did not take part in the Indian Premier League, which concluded last week. There are concerns that the lack of participation may affect the Australian players' match fitness and make them a bit rusty.
However, Australia captain Pat Cummins begs to differ and welcomes the break before a gruelling schedule.

'I want to be physically fresh': Pat Cummins
Speaking ahead of Wednesday's WTC Final, the Australian Skipper mentioned that they rarely get any breaks and with the Ashes right after the WTC Final it's better if the players are actually a little relaxed.
Breaks are rare to come by, I have always said, with six Test matches (including five in the Ashes), it is better to be slightly underdone than overdone. I am talking from a bowler’s point of view. So I want to be physically fresh. Back home, we did a lot of training. We have trained hard, rejuvenated and refreshed and are keen," said Pat Cummins
