Ever since coming back from the injury, there has been no stopping KL Rahul, who continues to impress everybody with his consistency in ODI cricket.
After notching up a hundred against Pakistan in his comeback game in Asia Cup 2023, Rahul again delivered a match-winning performance on Friday as the stand-in India captain scored an unbeaten fifty to take India home in the first ODI of the ongoing series versus Australia.

While Rahul has been doing pretty much all the talking with his bat, he sat on the interviewee's seat and was asked a few questions in an interview session arranged by official broadcasters of the India-Australia series.

In the interaction, he was also made to pick cricket's Greatest Of All Time (GOAT). There were no surprises here as the 31-year-old went with an obvious choice in the form of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
In a video shared on the official X account of Jio Cinema, Rahul in a two-word answer to the GOAT question said:

Who inspired KL Rahul to play cricket?
Further in the conversation, the Karnataka-born player revealed that Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, who is the head coach of the Indian team now, inspired him to take up cricket as a sport.
Rahul said,
Early days Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid once he started playing since he is from Bangalore.
