Virat Kohli received lavish praise from cricket legend Sir Garfield Sobers as the former West Indies batsman hailed the Indian ace for the "right approach" & "attitude" making him successful worldwide.
Kohli scored a ton in the first test but was rested in the second test by the Indian team management. Although he got into the team for the first ODI he did not get to bat after he was demoted down the order.
However, in the second ODI, he was again kept out of the team but was spotted bringing drinks at the end of the 37th over to Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav in the middle.

What did Sir Garfield Sobers say about Virat Kohli?
"Kohli is a great player with the right approach, attitude, and technique. He’s not the one who starts hitting from the first ball, practices hard, adjusts & plays according to the situation, that exceptional quality sets him apart from all batters around the world. I’ve never been surprised by the amount of runs he scores," he said during an interaction with Rev Sportz.
However, Sobers is not sure if Kohli will break all international records before he retires from the game.
“Well, I wouldn’t say that because sometimes the game can become very funny. You can have some bowlers that are good too.
"And you have players who can do certain things with the ball at times and you don’t even think about. You have been playing often with these types of players, and if you are good enough, eventually you will rise,” he added.
Kohli has scored 76 international centuries to date and remains only second to Sachin Tendulkar's 100 tons.
What next for Virat Kohli?
It remains to be seen if Kohli is reinstated to the team for the third and final ODI against West Indies on August 1.
