Indian star batter Virat Kohli has had a disappointing outing throughout the T20 World Cup 2024. The 35-year-old's miseries at the ICC tournament continued after he was dismissed early on in the semi-final against England.

Virat Kohli is fondly remembered for his exploits at the T20 World Cup 2016. However, eight years on, Kohli has seen the other end of the pendulum, at the T20 World Cup 2024.

Kohli was dismissed for a run-a-ball 9 against England in the all-important semi-final. A win for India would hand them a chance to end the 11-year-long trophy draught in ICC tournaments. 

The Delhi-born batter was seen distraught in the dressing room after being dismissed early in the semi-final against England. Virat has had tough times so far at the World Cup, even with the fans and critics urging him to retire from the T20 format.

Virat Kohli was dismissed for just nine runs by Reece Topley early on in the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final. Charging down the pitch, the ball chopped onto the stumps, as Virat Kohli treaded his way back to the pavilion, with yet another low score at the T20 World Cup 2024. 

Kohli was seen sitting alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja in the dressing room after his dismissal.
