The Village Stadium in Dublin will host the last two T20Is of the India-Ireland bilateral series. It is the venue with the biggest seating capacity in the country - 11500.

The Village Stadium has hosted the only-ever Test Match to have been played in Ireland. Over 30 international matches in the limited-overs format have been held at the venue.

The Village Stadium has hosted a total of 17 T20I so far. 

The team batting first has won seven times, while the chasing side has won on ten occasions.

Scotland hold the record for the highest team score on the ground as they put up 252/3 on the board against the Netherlands in the Ireland Tri-Nation T20I series in 2019.

Prior to that, the record was held by India, when they scored 213/4 in 20 overs against the home side in 2018.

What is the lowest score by a team at The Village Stadium?

The lowest score by a team at The Village Stadium in Malahide in T20Is is 70, by Ireland against India. Chasing 214, the hosts were bundled up for meagre 70 in 12.3 overs. 

Spin twins Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were too much to handle for the Irishmen. The duo picked three wickets each, and were ably supported by the pacers.

What is the highest individual score at The Village Stadium?

George Munsey boasts of having hit the highest-ever individual score in a T20I match at The Village Stadium, with 127* (56 balls) for Scotland against the Netherlands in 2019. 

The Scottish batsman hit five boundaries and fourteen maximums in his innings, striking at 225.78. Courtesy of his century, Scotland beat their opponent by 58 runs.

How many centuries have been scored at The Village Stadium?

There have been two centuries scored at this ground in T20 International matches. Apart from George Munsey, India's Deepak Hooda is the only batsman on the list.

Hooda scored 104 runs off 57 balls as India played Ireland in 2022. The batter hit nine boundaries and six maximums to bring up his century.

What is the best bowling figure at The Village Stadium?

Kuldeep Yadav's 4 for 21 in 2018 against Ireland by far remains the best bowling figures at The Village Stadium.

The Indian chinaman also bowled one maiden in his spell, and picked up the wickets of James Shannon, Simi Singh, Stuart Thompson, and Stuart Poynter on the night.

Which batsman has the most runs at The Village Stadium?

Ireland's Andy Balbirnie leads the charts of the top run-scorer at the venue in the T20I format. He has scored 275 runs in 11 innings, with a high score of 64.

Following him are, Harry Tector and George Munsey, with 229 and 219 runs respectively. 

Which bowler has the most wickets at The Village Stadium?

Kevin O'Brien has taken the most number of wickets in T20Is at The Village Stadium - 10. The right-arm pacer retired in 2021, and has a best-figures of 3/26 at the venue.

The next highest wicket-taker at the stadium are Craig Young and Mark Adair, with nine wickets in seven innings.
