The Men in Blue have won 10 matches in a row in the competition, and going to 11 would help them lift the trophy, as well as tie the record for most consecutive wins in a World Cup. They defeated New Zealand in the semifinal in Mumbai on Wednesday by 70 runs.
Australia have won 8 matches in a row since losing to India and South Africa in their opening group games. Having turned the tables on the Proteas with a 3-wicket win in Thursday's semifinal, they will be looking to do the same against India to win their sixth world title.

Top fantasy picks and tips for IND vs AUS
Virat Kohli: Batter
While India have been unstoppable as a unit in this World Cup, their prowess on the batting front has undoubtedly been led by Virat Kohli.
With 711 runs in 10 innings, the India star is the leading run-scorer in the tournament, as well as the leading run-scorer in any single World Cup ever. Kohli has crossed 50 on eight occasions, converting three of those into hundreds. If he can turn up one last time on Sunday, India will fancy their chances of winning a third World Cup.
Glenn Maxwell: All-rounder
Despite making it all the way to the final, it is fair to say Australia's middle-order has been a bit soft throughout the tournament. However, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has often been the one stepping up.
He smashed the World Cup's fastest-ever century, off 40 balls against Netherlands before playing an otherworldly knock of 201* against Afghanistan. He can be a bit hit-or-miss, but if he gets hold of the Indian attack in the final, he will be incredibly difficult to stop. Maxwell's off-spin has also been useful in this competition, picking up a few wickets while keeping things tight.
Mohammed Shami: Bowler
Mohammed Shami was not in India's first-choice team ahead of the World Cup, and strangely enough it was understandable. However, since comign in after injury struck Hardik Pandya, the Bengal pacer has been irrepressible.
Despite playing just six matches, he is the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 23 to his name. Shami took 7 wickets in the semifinal against New Zealand, following on from 5-wicket hauls against Sri Lanka, and New Zealand, in the group stage.
