Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) made their Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2013 after the erstwhile Hyderabad-based franchise, Deccan Chargers, were dissolved due to financial issues.
They retained 20 players from the Chargers squad but struggled to make a mark in the first couple of years of their existence.
In 2015, David Warner was made the skipper and in the next year, he lead SRH to their maiden title. The franchise also boasted of having the likes of Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson who has the potential to single-handedly change the course of any match in the T20 format.
Who is Sunrisers Hyderabad's highest run scorer in IPL?
Warner is their highest run-scorer with more than 4014 runs and has crossed the 500-mark in six of his seven seasons with them.
He has scored those 4000 plus runs in just 95 innings at an average of 49.55 and had been an integral part of the team until he was released in 2021.
