Steve Smith has become only the second Big Bash player to hit consecutive centuries in the competition as he helped the Sydney Sixers to a big win over Sydney Thunder
Smith smashed an incredible 125 off 66 balls - which is the fifth highest score in BBL history - to lead the Sixers to a 125-run victory in the derby.
The former Australian captain brought up his century off only 56 balls as the Sixers amassed a score of 2/187 off their 19 overs.
In response, the Thunder were bowled out for a measly 62 - their second lowest score in BBL history.
But the night was all about Smith, whose century was on the back of his 101-run innings in Tuesday's win over the Adelaide Strikers.
"I've been playing cricket with him for 15-20 years, but that's probably one of the best T20 knocks I've ever seen," Henriques said on Fox Cricket.
"That was incredible to watch, some of those shots, I stand at the other end just gobsmacked.
"That's not an easy wicket to bat on. This is a much worse wicket than the wicket we saw in Coffs (Harbour), this innings actually blows that last innings out of the park.
"I'm speechless, to be honest."
Against the Strikers, the Test star became the first man to notch a ton for the Sixers in BBL history, before his impressive innings came to a comical end when he was run out right after reaching triple figures.
Smith's 101-run contribution versus Adelaide was smashed off just 56 balls as he helped himself to five boundaries and seven sixes.
