Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) host Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.
SRH will bank on big-hitter Harry Brook who finally unleashed himself in full measure in the last game, scoring a 100* off just 55 deliveries against a hapless Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after struggling for runs in the first few matches. The England international was bought for Rs 13.5 crores by the Orange army after an intense bidding war with Rajasthan Royals (RR) and it has started paying dividends.
However, he did struggle to play the spinners and it remains to be seen how he tackles the likes of Piyush Chawla and youngster Hrithik Shokheen who did a fairly good job against KKR batters.
On the other hand, MI also beat the Kolkata franchise in their previous match by five wickets and 14 balls to spare. Venkatesh Iyer's brilliant century went in vain as wickets kept tumbling at the other end.
In response, MI started on top gear and despite losing Rohit Sharma early, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav ensured that the asking rate was well within control. More importantly, Yadav was back among runs as he scored a quickfire 43 off 25 before falling to Shardul Thakur.
These two teams have faced each other 18 times in the past, with both of them winning nine matches each.
